The 2021 Nissan Sentra features attractive interior and exterior styling that you’d expect to find in a vehicle that costs a lot more. This economically priced compact sedan provides drivers with an alternative to the boy racer designs of some competitors. While budget-priced models may skimp on standard features, the Sentra comes with a great feature set, including safety-assistance equipment such as forward collision mitigation and blind-spot monitoring. These are some of the reasons the 2021 Sentra is so popular at dealers like the Santa Maria Nissan dealership.
The Sentra gets a few changes for 2021. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard on every trim. A Wi-Fi hotspot and NissanConnect Services are now optional in the SR trim. According to the Nissan dealer Santa Maria, a new two-tone paint combination, Electric Blue metallic with a black roof, is added this year.
The 2021 Sentra gets excellent reviews. Motor Trend writes: “[T]he Nissan Sentra has evolved into a stylish daily driver packed with technology. Last year’s extensive redesign made plenty of changes under the skin, too. The Sentra now has an independent rear suspension that promises better ride and handling. Think of the new compact sedan as a more refined Sentra instead of a sporty model trying to evoke fun-to-drive predecessors like the Sentra SE-R and the outgoing Sentra NISMO.”
The Sentra S is the base trim, but it still comes with a long list of features, including automatic high-beam headlights, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, keyless entry and ignition, a 4.2-inch digital driver information display, a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a stereo system with four speakers, Bluetooth and a USB port. Standard safety features include forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, a driver attention monitor, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert and a rearview camera.
Move up to the SV, and you’ll get alloy wheels, upgraded cloth upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, proximity keyless entry, remote start, dual-zone automatic climate control, adaptive cruise control, a 7-inch digital driver display, an 8-inch touchscreen, a stereo system with six speakers, satellite radio and three USB ports.
The top-line SR trim comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, a dark chrome V-motion grille, a chrome-tipped exhaust, fog lights, cloth seats with orange stitching, LED headlights and a rear spoiler.
