The futuristic exterior of the 2015 Nissan Murno was designed to slip through the wind like a sports car, while retaining the interior dimensions of a premium SUV. The new Murano has the same 0.31 drag coefficient as the iconic Porsche 911 Turbo, yet still has more rear legroom than the Lexus RX350. The new model features a fuel efficiency that has been increase by about 20%, while every ounce of power has been retained – through extended wind-tunnel testing and analysis, Nissan was able to give it an aerodynamic profile that cuts down on the wind resistance. The new Murano also weighs approximately 130 pounds less than the previous model, which also contributes to the improved fuel efficiency.
