2017 is looking to be an exciting year for changes and fresh takes on car models. While many companies have dubbed 2017 as the “Year of the Truck,” and there does seem to be a focus on the pickup class, not everyone needs a truck for everyday driving. Many people are searching for family sedans or SUVs that comfortably fit five and still have space for groceries and luggage. That’s why Nissan has been dedicated to reinventing the 2017 Nissan Rogue, and debuted their changes at the Miami Auto Show.
The Nissan Rogue is a small SUV that has continually offered the best in family travel. The newest Rogue has a number of improved safety features, such as integrated fog lamps and better rear lights to clearly illuminate the way forward or backward. The on board computer has been updated with Safety Shield technology to help increase driver awareness. This technology actively scans for pedestrians and can automatically brake if a collision is eminent. You also have no need to worry about wandering from your lane while using the intelligent cruise control thanks to lane departure warning systems.
The 2017 Rogue is available in three different trim levels that all offer the choice between front-wheel or all-wheel drive. The newest trim level available for the first time is a Rogue Hybrid, which blends the small SUV design with a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly electric motor and gasoline hybrid. This engine provides a chart topping 33 mpg city and 35 mpg highway to ensure you rarely have to stop to refuel. This is an improved 5 mpg over the regular engine, and also helps to lower emissions.
