Not too long ago, Nissan revealed that it would be partnering up with Daimler to build a new production facility south of our borders. As of this week, we received notice that the new building has initiated construction and will be located in Aguascalientes, Jalisco – 150 miles northeast of Guadalajara. The two automakers entered this partnership to boost their production significantly in the upcoming years. Nissan is expecting to see a growth in their total production as early as 2017, while Mercedes-Benz is expecting to see its growth by 2018.
