Nissan has proven to be a top contender in the automotive industry – in the first six months, Nissan posted a 12.8% increase in U.S. sales. More specifically, for the April-June quarter, Nissan attained a 4.3% gain in operating profit margin for North America. Helped by strong sales in the U.S. market, April-June operating profit rose a higher-than-expected 13.4%, exceeding analyst estimates. Now, Nissan is planning to start new programs for its dealers that give incentives for longer term sales growth.
