A couple months ago, Nissan announced that they would provide all-electric vehicles to the city of Toyama, Japan – the Nissan e-NT400. This will help Nissan gather useful information to further develop the vehicle – Nissan will be using two different types of trucks that will be used for recyclable garbage pickup. The e-NT400 is built almost identically to the Nissan LEAF – 80 KW motor plus lithium-ion battery pack capable of a quick 30 minute recharge.
