Nissan Motor Company has been taking great strides in reducing its C02 emissions over the past year. The automaker has improved its overall sustainability this past fiscal year. Concurrently, the automaker was also able to increase its vehicle production and plant energy efficiency – allowing them to increase production while decreasing its CO2 emissions. The Japanese automaker plans to increase its usage of renewable energy in its global business activities to 9% by the end of the 2016.
