Nissan’s latest creation is a new concept car that is focused more on visual appearance rather than a high powered engine. Over that last couple of design cycles, Nissan has been putting more emphasis on #personalization and visual beauty. One of the biggest reasons for this is the approach of autonomous cars, which when used will lessen the importance of the driving experience. That’s not to say Nissan models aren’t fun to drive; each car has an engine that is perfectly tuned to maximize performance while still maintaining a high fuel efficiency. The look of a car will always be important, no matter who is driving the car, and this V-motion 2.0 design is certainly eye catching.
This feature is an improvement on the already established V-motion grille, which can be found on most Nissan models today. This update will stretch the “V” grille further along the front of the car, creating sharp edges and powerful lines, which Nissan describes as, “emotional geometry.” The larger grille also has the added bonus of providing more airflow to the engine, which can naturally cool it down. New lights and glowing LEDs have also been added to indicate when the car is in autonomous mode.
