Now that we’ve talked enough about the exterior modifications made to the 2017 Nissan GT-R, let’s have a look at some of the internal changes received by the model.

The 2017 Nissan GT-R will be fitted with a twin-turbocharged, 3.8-liter, V-6 engine that delivers 565 horsepower via all four wheels. This indicates an increase of 20 horses as compared to last year and this is primarily due to an updated timing system and greater boost.

The rear side of the car also has a lightweight titanium exhaust and the Bilstein suspension has undergone some changes as well. It appears more aggressive with Ray wheels that have been mounted at the car’s corners. It additionally features an electrical power-steering system in the front.

The 2017 Nissan GT-R has an 8-inch touch-screen Nissan Connect system which is handled by a brand new rotary controller (fitted in between the seats). One can safely say that these features are quite superior when compared to last year’s GT-R. The most significant change in the 2017 Nissan GT-R is perhaps made to the cabin. You can now say goodbye to the rubbery and old-fashioned button-heavy interior which was first launched in 2007. It finally gets replaced by a sophisticated infotainment system that is more modern and looks quite good in the cabin. There is a lot more to find out about the new Nissan GT-R in the upcoming articles. Check out the latest Nissan models at the Coast Nissan showroom!

2017 NISSAN GT-R Refined to Perfection-Part I

GT-R Coast Nissan

Nissan GT-R’s current generation model made its debut in the year 2007. It’s now ready to get refined and come out all fresh in 2017. As far as the features of the 2017 Nissan GT-R are concerned, it will definitely have greater power and some minor suspension modifications. The interior of the car will also be refreshed. All these are quite predictable updates which almost all aging models undergo at some point or the other.

The 2017 Nissan GT-R seems to appear as good as new and definitely has a fresh feel to it. The visual modifications made to the Nissan GT-R might be difficult to spot for somebody who is not really an automobile enthusiast, especially from a distance. However, there are actually quite a lot of changes made to its exterior, particularly around the corners. The company has creased the rear and front bumpers of the GT-R and they look sharper and more aggressive than before (the inspiration possibly comes from the high-performing NISMO model). This means that this huge car can now cut through the wild wind, but slightly more elegantly.

There has also been some re-sculpting of the central part of the vehicle. It has got the popular Nissan corporate V-Motion treatment and it looks quite good on it. There has been an opening up and streamlining of the air intakes. They now offer better cooling needed for the now more pressurized engine. The 2017 Nissan GT-R is Here!

gfghfghgfh

Nissan just answered every GT-R fanboy’s prayer at the 2016 New York international Auto Show by presenting the all-new 2017 Nissan GT-R.

The new GT-R comes with some fresh interiors and significant upgrades on the outside as well. More importantly, the 2017 Nissan GT-R will come with some major upgrades in the performance department and a ton of new features.

The GT-R Premium, which is the first of the four variants, will hit showroom floors sometime in the summer of 2016.

Daniel Schillaci, Executive VP, Global Marketing & Sales stated that the latest GT-R will be the most  progressive, advanced, and refined sports car from the Nissan label. For those who know their GT-Rs, that’s something to really look forward to, considering the fact that older GT-Rs were light years away from being disappointing.

The VP also mentioned that the GT-R will now focus on 5 key areas – Exterior Design, Driving Performance, Technology, Interior Refinement, and Ride Comfort. The objective being that Nissan plans to surpass all current expectations of “Excitement” and “Refinement” that the GT-R is already known for.

The GT-R has always set the standards for Japanese automotive engineering and design and has also remained loyal to its Japanese personality. The new version is expected to really push the limits by bringing together the refinement and class of a Grand Tourer and the precision and performance of a purebred Racer.

To put it simply, Nissan plans to expand on the GT-R’s “Godzilla” legend.
