Baseball Season

Spring and Summer are ideal for enjoying America’s national pastime, and there are several teams that call SLO home. The Cal Poly Mustangs’ regular season schedule lasts until the end of May, and be on the lookout for playoff tickets to watch these exciting young athletes play teams from around the country. College baseball games are an exciting and inexpensive way to spend a weekend with friends and family. The fun doesn’t end in May though, as the #SLOBlues begin their summer season to stay in shape during the collegiate offseason.

Beachside Fun

There is no better place to experience a wide variety of sports and activities than the beach. Just on the sand you can find pickup games of volleyball or badminton, and on the dunes you can rent an ATV to explore the long coastline. On windy days, there are always surfers trying to master the waves, and during calmer times you can rent kayaks and jet skis and head out from shore. Of course, you can always relax in the refreshing water or build castles in the sand with friends or family.
