This service will feature use Nissan’s two-seater electric vehicle, which is light, compact and nicknamed “Twizy.”

The Twizy has been in development for a few years by Nissan’s partner, Renault, and after four years of safety and economic testing, they are finally ready to hit the road. They only sit up to two people, but Nissan will likely extend the program in the future to include the Nissan Leaf. The Twizy has a top speed of around 50 miles per hour and a range of 62 miles, perfect for short trips between city destinations. Being electric, drivers will never need to stop by the gas station for a fill up, and they produce much fewer emission than a typical vehicle.
