2016 Nissan LEAF Price Announced by Nissan

The price of the 2016 Nissan LEAF has been officially announced. The Japanese automaker revealed that the LEAF will soon be available for purchase at Nissan dealers, including Coast Nissan, in only a few weeks. The new model offers an extended driving range; with an EPA-rated range of 107 miles the LEAF has a starting price of $26,700. Additionally, the LEAF S model continues to be equipped with a 24 kWh battery with an EPA-rated range of 84 miles and a starting price of $21,510 ( after federal tax incentive ). Since dipping its toes in the electric market, Nissan has become the global leader in electric vehicle sales; today, Nissan is known for its leadership and continuous efforts to further advance the EV segment.

Nissan Sales Increase Compared to the Year Before

The popular Japanese automaker, Nissan Motor Co., published its sales results for October, earlier this week and we found that its recent sales figures demonstrate overall growth in the company. Across the nation, dealers reaped the benefits of sales growth; in fact, sales improved by 13% in October – totaling 116,047 units delivered. More specifically, the Japanese automaker’s crossover, trucks and SUV sales set an October record. Nissan reported a sales improvement of 26% in this category. Murano crossovers set a new record for October, with 24,939 vehicles delivered this year, the crossover reported significant growth. Moreover, the Versa saw a sales increase of 25%.
