At the recent Chicago Auto Show, car makers gathered to reveal new packages and upgrades to the already defined lineup of 2017 cars. The show was scheduled to begin Thursday morning, but Nissan fittingly held the reveal of the #MidnightLineup late Wednesday night. Consumers loved the black-on-black style of the Maxima, accounting for 85 percent of all Maxima SR sales, and so it only made sense to offer this package on an expanded lineup. Nissan’s chief marketing director Eric Ledieu mentioned that he asked dealers like Coast Nissan if they wanted more Midnight Editions and they, “responded by asking us to please make it happen very quickly.”

So exactly what upgrades make up this legendary performance package? The most noticeable aspect is the black styling that is integrated into the wheels, mirrors, spoilers, diffusers and even the floor mats. Crossovers like the Rogue and Pathfinder also will get black roof racks and splash guards. If you don’t want the car to be completely black there is an option for body colors of white, red or gunmetal grey. This package is all about creating a look and Ledieu added, “You see this level of personalization becoming popular, creating a sporty look with dark wheels, dark accents.” The best part is Nissan has made this package affordable, with the whole deal costing only half of what the separate parts cost.

Japanese automobile manufacturer Nissan Motor Company is one of those brands. Considering how harsh the winters in North America can be, Nissan has released some aggressive models to take on the snow, ice, and drifts. With the upcoming 2016 Chicago Auto Show, Nissan is all set to demonstrate three new versions of its already popular crossovers – the Pathfinder, Murano, and Rogue. These three custom “Winter Warrior” crossovers are capable of tackling even the worst winters North America has experienced.

With the Winter Warrior additions, Nissan is looking to enhance the crossovers’ advanced systems, adding special snow tracks, custom exteriors, and genuine Nissan accessories. They feature heavy-duty track systems that come with matte-black finish frames. The Dominator Tracks are 30 inches high, 48 inches long, and 15 inches wide. These are fitted to replace the cars’ tires and wheels. The vehicles’ wheel wells and suspensions have been modified to fit the snow tracks. The drivetrain components are brand new.

The Winter Warrior was designed by Nissan Design America with a custom matte red-chrome body that features unique track designs as well as a “Winter Warrior” signage. These additions are expected to boost the sales of Nissan crossovers.
