Stay Safe On The Road At Night With These Service Tips For Your Nissan

There is a stark difference between driving when the sun is out and driving at night. With the lights turned on, it’s easier to see the whole length of cars that are nearby, and changing lanes is much safer. SYLVANIA Automotive recently surveyed motorists and found that over 60% of drivers actively avoid driving after the sun goes down. At your coastal Nissan dealership, we are always working to make your driving experience safer and more enjoyable, and we have many service and vehicle options that will help you and other drivers feel more confident at night. Come down to Coast Nissan In San Luis Obispo to see how regular #Nissan service can change your nighttime drives.

Headlight Problems

Your headlights and taillights are the most important features to keep maintained to drive at night. Without proper illumination, poorly lit roads and areas without street lights can be very dangerous. Malfunctioning tail lights will cause problems for other drivers, as they will not be able to see any turn signals that you use. The glass that houses your headlights can also become dirty and less transparent, making it difficult to see hazardous road conditions or changes in the flow of traffic. All of these conditions can be easily fixed by our trained specialists at Coast Nissan.

Part Upgrades

There are also several upgrades you can make to your Nissan to make night driving less stressful. High-performance headlights are designed to improve the quality of the lighting and the distance that is covered, letting you react faster. You can also get new brake pads or tires at our Nissan service centers that let you come to a stop faster and grip the road better in hazardous conditions. To find out about all the services and our exceptional selection of new and used cars, head over to www.coastnissan.com.

2016 Nissan Altima Outshines its Competitors

Nissan 4 ALtima 2016 no match

The 2016 Nissan Altima competes in one of the automotive industry’s toughest markets – the full-size sedan segment is overcrowded with options and the Nissan Altima’s midcycle refresh features more than just a few cool upgrades. Cosmetically, the new model has changed tremendously; its front and rear fascias now features an entirely new look – one that is appreciated highly. In addition to the new front and back ends, the Altima now shares a few of the same styling cues as the Murano and the new Maxima models: the new headlights, taillights and subtle changes to hood, fenders and trunk. Nissan reported that the vehicle will carry an EPA ratings of 39 MPG on the highway and 27 MPG in the city = 31 MPG combined.
