Nissan has been a sponsor of the Grand Prix for over thirty years and this year is no different. In fact, the automaker will be sponsoring the 31st annual children’s storybook competition that is organized by the International Institute for Children’s Literature-Osaka. This organization offers young aspiring writers and illustrators the opportunity to showcase their talents – if chosen the work will be published. The contest typically receives close to 3,000 entries a year and this year they are all due by October 31, 2014. Nissan will be funding the distribution of the winning published piece and will ensure that libraries and kindergartens receive a copy.
