Nissan Is a Performance Brand: The Top 5 Proof Points

nissan performance

Nissan is blazing an exciting new path and we’re loving the ride.

A lot of people would not associate the word “performance” with the global car manufacturer Nissan. We get it. After all, the Leaf is made by Nissan. Can the Leaf be considered a performance car? Probably not.  The Leaf is just the start of the direction Nissan is going, though. We think it’s pretty cool that they can push off their long-developed technologies for electric vehicles to speed ahead in the performance arena. They usually stun with a new car, or a win, at Le Mans, so that’s nothing to sneeze at. And they are great at combining the fuel technologies of tomorrow with performance builds. We don’t see any other car manufacturers that have the same kind of focus and that makes Nissan unique. Here’s more proof that Nissan is owning the reputation of a performance brand:

  1. They were rated one of greatest Japanese sports cars of all time.

Maxim magazine ranked the Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 as one of the top sports cars ever coming out of Japan. This car is now considered practically an antique, but it shows that Nissan has a history of performance know-how.

  1. They were a top performer at the Olympics.

Nissan stunned the world with the unveiling of their 2017 BladeGlider prototype in Rio last August, touted to be one of first ever all-electric sports cars. It is the embodiment of future technologies, and demonstrates where Nissan is focusing their brand (on the future!)

  1. They are bringing even more performance to their EVs.

The infrastructure for electric vehicles continues to grow both here in the states and across the pond, and Nissan is keeping up with demand by constantly improving the batteries and other performance factors in their electric vehicles—proving that performance is their mission in every country and for every model.

  1. They are learning from the past and building on their success.

Speaking of the GT-R R32, wait until you see how Nissan has revamped it for 2017. It’s the most gorgeous muscle car we’ve ever seen.

  1. They keep revving their engines.

Nissan clearly understands the power of a powerful engine. You would be hard-pressed to find another automaker that has produced more performance-oriented engines than Nissan. For people who care about going fast, Nissan always delivers the horsepower.

A Review Of The Safe 2017 Nissan Pathfinder

2017 Pathfinder

Safety

Most of the Pathfinder’s safety systems are similar to last year’s model. However, it is easy to see that the safety measures have improved on this model with the introduction of the front emergency braking and intelligent cruise control. A major introduction is that of the Around View Monitor that lets you track moving objects as you drive.

Conclusion

The Pathfinder has it’s own base of fans and rightfully so. It can offer some amazing features and makes sure nothing is complicated for the drivers to learn. Price is another major factor as to why the car is so popular. Add to this, the fact that that nee features have been introduced and the exterior revamp, the car is definitely going to be a hot seller. It will also give Nissan the opportunity to keep the car for the next few years without it being too many upgrades. Overall, the Pathfinder is definitely a car that is recommended that want to have fun in an SUV and still feel the power.

Coast Nissan has the best Nissan models on offer and you can experience them in real life by driving down to the showroom in California.
