Nissan 2017 – Highlights of the next gen – part 2

Among the major highlights of the 2017 lineup of Nissan, the second name that commands a mention is the next gen Nissan GTR Press kit. The automobile has been officially unveiled at this year’s 2016 New York International Auto show, and is expected to hit the markets sometime next year.

Along with a major structural and design upgrade, the 2017 GTR also offers an enhanced performance and higher on road economy, than its previous models. Few of the several alterations in the automobile, include a redesigned cabin, an enhanced horsepower of 565 at 6800 rpm, superior acceleration, fine tuned six speed dual clutch transmission, lightweight titanium exhaust system, sturdier frame and an additional available option of the ‘blaze metallic’ orange exterior shade. The vehicle is expected to be available in the dealerships across the country by mid July next year.

Another grand entry to the 2017 lineup is the race car Nissan GTR Nismo. The three year old Nismo is based on the dynamics oriented platform of supercars, which provides a superior handling precision and an n enhanced aerodynamics. The 2017 Nismo gets a few significant upgrades, both on its structural design and under its hood. The modification include an enlarged V motion front grille for superior aerodynamics, a refreshed cabin, a redesigned front bumper, taut sheet metal and a refined suspension for a smoother ride.

2017 NISSAN GT-R Refined to Perfection-Part I

Nissan GT-R’s current generation model made its debut in the year 2007. It’s now ready to get refined and come out all fresh in 2017. As far as the features of the 2017 Nissan GT-R are concerned, it will definitely have greater power and some minor suspension modifications. The interior of the car will also be refreshed. All these are quite predictable updates which almost all aging models undergo at some point or the other.

The 2017 Nissan GT-R seems to appear as good as new and definitely has a fresh feel to it. The visual modifications made to the Nissan GT-R might be difficult to spot for somebody who is not really an automobile enthusiast, especially from a distance. However, there are actually quite a lot of changes made to its exterior, particularly around the corners. The company has creased the rear and front bumpers of the GT-R and they look sharper and more aggressive than before (the inspiration possibly comes from the high-performing NISMO model). Nissan Kicks Off the 2016 Motorsport Season in Australia

Nissan has officially started the 2016 Motorsport Season in Australia. On the track, representing the Nissan squad, you can expect to see, Michael Caruso’s #23 NISMO Nissan Altima V8 Supercar, equipped with a new variation of the global GT3 colors that the Altima carried in 2015. Nissan reports that the #1 Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 aims to take home first place in the back-to-back Bathurst 12 hour races. “Today is a display of how heavily committed Nissan is to Australian motorsport,” said Nissan Motor Co. Australia Managing Director and CEO Richard Emery. “Elements from all three pillars of our local motorsport activities – V8 Supercars, GT3 and the Bathurst 12 Hour, and the Nissan PlayStation GT Academy program – were all at Phillip Island. All is now set for a huge 2016 season, beginning with the Bathurst 12 Hour next month where the Nissan GT-R will strive to win back-to back victories at Mount Panorama, just as it did in 1991 and 1992.”
