Nissan Unveils New Sports Car and Electric Hybrid

Smart and sport don’t generally go together, especially in the world of cars. The latest Nissan trailer featured famous actress Margot Robbie, who test drove the car out on a closed race track in Monaco. In the short video, she shows off the incredible maneuverability and speed the sports car shows by piloting the car around one of the most famous corners of the racing world: the Fairmont Hairpin. The car effortlessly glides around the track, highlighting the never-before-seen power of the powertrain electric engine. Manufactured by UK-based Williams Advanced Engineering, this new engine can accelerate the car 60 miles per hour in under five seconds, and can reach a maximum velocity of 115 mph. This latest setup also features two 130 kW electric motors for each wheel that can compensate for understeering through a process known as torque vectoring.

 

Other notable features of this new sports car include a new seat configuration that has one driver in the front near the “nose” of the car and two seats behind it. Nissan Unveils A GT-R For True Racing Fans

When it comes to sports cars, each company works hard to find the right engine and build that really makes the car come alive. For Nissan, its flagship GT-R model that only appeared in March has already been a top seller, thanks to its sleek design and incredible feel. This car has shown such great success that Nissan has recently unveiled a new Track Edition which tweaks the car to provide better performance.

 

The Track Edition was developed by Nissan’s NISMO racing division, which excels in putting out race ready cars. The crew managed to add some more horsepower and better stability. The engine is a hand-assembled 3.8-1 twin-turbo monster that power out 562 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, slightly above the engine in other GT-R models. One of the most iconic automobiles, of the sports car segment in automotive history, is the Nissan 370Z, which is renowned for its unmatched performance, stylish designing and top of the notch tech features, and is all set to have its 2017 variant launched by the automaker.
